Ryan Tubridy was in Bray this morning for the final day of his 'Bucket & Spade' tour.  It was his last ever show on RTE Radio 1 as he moves to 2FM to fill the Gerry Ryan morning slot.   Ryan is looking forward to a more light hearted approach to entertainment, although he said the move is bittersweet.

Very successful Day 1 of the BSF TV live from Bray seafront!! I interviewed Republic of Loose backstage after their sound check, and they joined Ryan O'Neill (East Coast FM) for a quick interview as well on the live show.

Ryan O'Neill did an interview with myself so I could give an update on the drama of the day.  I spoke to a few people on the Bray main street to see which bands they were most looking forward to seeing over the weekend!

I also caught up with Shay and Daniel from Peakin' Trippers just before they went on stage, and that will be broadcast on tomorrow's live show.

I caught up with Andrew Maxwell at the Bray Comedy Club last night.   As usual, an absolutely hilarious gig!  Typical of Maxwell, there was a unique and intelligent mix of political and economic opinion, coupled with uncontrollable laughter.   Naturally, there was the politically incorrect and cringe-worthy moments to suit all tastes in comedy!

Today the line up was announced for the 2010 Bray SummerFest.   The festival was launched at the Martello in Bray where I interviewed the event organisers and sponsors. The footage will be available to view on my website in the next few days. 

There is an amazing music line up this year featuring critically-acclaimed Republic of Loose, Knights of Leon (a tribute to you-know-who), and one of the most exciting emerging bands around, The Shoos.  The Three Irish Tenors are also back this year, having been extremely popular in the past.

For all you foodies out there, this year there will be the Flavour of Bray Taste Fest where visitors can enjoy the best in food, wine and craft beer from local suppliers.

Other highlights include an array of family entertainment, Arts workshops and live comedy featuring Andrew Maxwell and many more!

Today we were in Bray filming for the Bray Cancer Support Centre's video campaign for their new premises.   I interviewed Cathy Kelly (Author) and Nikki Hayes (2FM) as well as some families who have been helped by the centre over the years.

The media launch is on Tuesday 15th June in the Martello, Bray at 11am, and everyone is welcome to attend.  I'll be doing MC for the event :-)

I'll be filming with PC Productions at the next race meet in The Curragh.   I love the races, so I'm very much looking forward to it!  I'll be interviewing Joe Foley (Owner of Ballyhane Stud & Former Chairman of the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders' Association), Paul Deegan (Trainer), and a Jockey (TBC).
